This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website favicar.com (the “Website”) uses, why, and how you can manage them. The Website is operated by CodeNext Limited (Office 104, 1st Floor, 12 Michalakopoulou Street, Mesa Geitonia, Limassol 4003, Cyprus), which is the controller of the data collected with cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website and the services connected to it recognise your browser on later visits. The browser's local storage (localStorage) is used in a similar way. In this policy both are called cookies.

Cookies do not contain your name, phone number or email address. Data that you send through the Website's forms is not stored in cookies.

Your consent

Necessary cookies are used without consent because the Website cannot work without them. Analytics, advertising and online chat cookies are used only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject the optional ones or choose individual categories. You can also allow the online chat by clicking the chat button. Until you consent, the corresponding services are not loaded. Your choice is kept for 1 year, after which we ask again.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings (the link is at the bottom of every page). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. After you withdraw consent, the corresponding services stop loading and the cookies they stored on the Website are deleted.

Help us understand how visitors use the Website: where they come from, which sections they view and where they run into difficulties. We use this data in aggregated form to improve the Website.

Data transfers outside the EU

Data collected by Google and JivoChat is processed by these companies in accordance with their policies: Google privacy policy, JivoChat privacy policy.

Google may process data in the USA. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision.

JivoChat data may be processed outside the EU; details are in the JivoChat privacy policy.

How to manage cookies

You can choose cookie categories in the cookie settings. You can also view and delete cookies, including those set by services on their own domains, and block them in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics you can install the official Google browser add-on. If you block cookies, some features of the Website, such as the online chat, may not work correctly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Cyprus this is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, or you can contact the authority of the country where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we connect new services. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
